Yesterday I thought I was having a manic episode, but then I realized that yes, everything really IS that AWESOME!!!

I posted the violin and viola solo improvisation tracks on the SoundCloud.  The feeling I’ve had since is a completely new sense of bliss than I have felt before.  Why have I waited so long to record???  This is AMAZING!!!  It feels good to put something out “into the wild” that is its own entity, and can live forever.  Music is such a transitional point in time; it cannot be held or put into a box or contained.  Being able to have a set track recorded and mastered and released feels SO gratifying. (The link is on the recordings page, now that I HAVE THEM!!!)  Music, how I love you.

Philly B and I are working on a few projects now, including getting ready for Wobble on September 17th at Spin Nightclub in San Diego.  I have wanted to play inside that venue ever since I started seeing all the circus performers have their turn.  (I’m part of the circus TOO!!!  I have the stripey socks!!!!)  Then everything fell into place, and I’m very excited, and it’s going to be amazing.  Philly B, thank you thank you thank you!!!!

Secret projects to be unveiled are in the planning phases now.  It’s important not to release these secrets too soon, while the work is still fragile and forming.  The process continues….the cycles move on.
