So it’s about the 1 Year Anniversary of the first S.H.A.F.T. fundraiser we put on at the Kava Lounge June 27th, 2012…we weren’t CALLING it a S.H.A.F.T. show, but it was…we had Duckberry Crunch, Dr. 42, Lisa Ubiquitous, and Cloudmonstr playing.  We called it “Supercowboyalien-Ninjedifireyaladocious” because we wanted to represent COWBOYS, NINJAS, and ALIENS, who were all part of our San Diego area fire group spinning fire at the foot of the MAN at Burningman 2012.  We did it!!!  My best wishes and support for this year’s San Diego Fire group to do the same;  I know you’ll kill it, and I’ll be in the front row watching you and cheering you on!!!

Here we are, a year later.  On June 14th we have planned another night at Kava…this time raising funds for the Inconvenience Store Burningman Camp.  All funds raised will go towards magic and mayhem to be announced at Burningman 2013, and specifically we want SHADE!!!

So excited for this lineup….and not just because they’re some of my very favorite peeps…their music is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!

Every time Dirty Pierre spins, he gets more and more AWESOME!!!  Peter keeps branching out styles and genres,  he is one to watch as his musical journey unfolds. What will he bring??? It can be ANYTHING!!!

Dr. 42, Ruben Valas, has major family things going on right now…We are holding space for you!!!  Your place on the lineup is solid and I know you want to be with us.  <3  Last I heard he was putting together all KINDS of crazy music for us…

Duckberry Crunch has evolved into Duckberry Crunch XPlosion with CrunchBerriezz, and every time we play it gets more and more WEIRD.  Clearly.

Just Gage…Whatever…. he’s another talent evolving before our eyes;  throwing down epic beats and keeping the dancefloor groovin’.  Watch this guy too.

Ubiquitous, you’re my hero!!!  Whether in the desert or in a club or anywhere in between, the journey you take us on this night will bring us to SPACE AND BACK!!!

So everyone out there in cyberspace… please Dust off your goggles, get your space suit ready, and if you have Miscreant patches WEAR THEM…the time is NOW for all of us to come together as a family, and we invite all the musical families to join us.  We have one shot on this planet in this form, and we’re driving our planetary space ship with epic beats and good vibes!!!
